In continuing with my spring and summer sewing, I have a lovely new dress pattern to share with you all today. Actually, a few new dress patterns! I'm so excited about these patterns too because they're so fun to sew and select fabric for. The Lemon Drop Tunic and Dress* from Tie Dye Diva was …
5 Cozy Knits for Kids
Today I’m at Cali Fabrics (aka Fabric Outlet I’m always raving about in San Francisco) reviewing some fun knits! Take a look…

It seems like every day (well not really, but you know what I mean!) there’s some type of knit fabric on the market I’ve never heard of and I need to touch them, pick them up, see how they drape, test their stretch, fall in love with them!
Sewing for little ones means I can play with a wide variety of knits in small quantities. I narrowed myself down to five very different types of knit fabrics available from Cali Fabrics, and I selected the New York Minute Dress pattern and Sterling Leggings pattern both from Tie Dye Diva to show off what these knit fabrics can do.

Wardrobe Planning and Me!
We haven't been getting snow, but it has been raining A LOT for where we live. We back up to a creek that sounds more like a river, and every time the sun comes out, the girls and I run outside to play before the next rains come! Since we're stuck inside so much we're …
The New York Minute Dress
I've been looking for warm, versatile dress patterns for my girls. My older daughter has this lovely fleece dress from Old Navy, and since she's close to outgrowing it, I've been on the hunt for a similar dress pattern. I was so excited to then be given the opportunity to test the New York Minute …
