#mmmay17 – week 3

I almost forgot to share my Me Made May week 3 round-up!  Since school is wrapping up for my little one, time seems to be going at warp speed.  I can’t believe she’s finishing kindergarten already.  Each day seems to get busier and busier, but I’m really looking forward to summer break.  Alright, on with my sewing…

I can’t believe I haven’t had any repeats yet, but I do mostly wear what I make everyday anyway.  Also, I can’t remember the last time I bought myself some clothing.  I wear it until it falls apart!

Alright, if you’re feeling like being social read on…

Call Ajaire is currently having a contest with her free View G Dress pattern.  You can find out how to get it here in this post.  All you have to do is sew up a View G (or one you’ve already made) and share in Call Ajaire’s Facebook group or on Instagram using the tag #viewGContest by May 31st.  One random person will be chosen to upgrade their free version to a full version of the Crossroads Dress pattern.

Also, Tie Dye Diva Patterns is prepping for a Lemon Drop sew along.  We’re adding some hacks and there are some big prizes too, like I wish I could win them!  It’s keeping me plenty busy, but I’m getting some gorgeous tunics and dresses out of it.  The Lemon Drop pattern (*afflink) is on sale until then, so if you want to participate, go ahead and grab your copy before June 12th.

I’ve also been doing a bunch of selfish sewing lately and really can’t wait to share those very soon!  Have you sewn anything up for the upcoming season?  Any favorites?

*What are affiliate links?  When you click on my affiliate links, you pay the same amount for what you buy, but the designer compensates me with a percentage of your purchase with no extra cost to you.  It’s like a sewing commission that lets me sew EVEN MORE STUFF!
