Here’s my second week of wearing and photographing my makes. Several haven’t been blogged, and probably never will, but I’m working at getting better. It’s easier to photograph my girls in my makes than myself!
Day 8
Pattern: Ruby Top (refashion)
Designer: Made by Rae
Blogged: Not yet, but soon!
Day 9
Pattern: Charleston Dress
Designer: Hey June Patterns
Blogged: Nope, but this was part of a sew along in January. I love this dress, and I didn’t even make a muslin but the fit is awesome! I did add the zipper in the back, but I don’t think I will for my next version. Hey June Patterns fit me very well, and it’s unfortunate I still haven’t blogged any of my me-mades with her patterns.
Day 10
Pattern: Out and About Dress
Designer: Sew Caroline
Blogged: No. I’ve had to make a few fit changes to the bodice, but at some point I’m sure I’ll blog them.
Pattern: Astoria Cropped Pullover
Designer: Seamwork Magazine
Blogged: Hmmm, I don’t think so, but I love this pattern! It goes together in less than an hour and works great with dresses.
Day 11
Pattern: Camden Raglan
Designer: Hey June Patterns
Blogged: No, but I love it and again, fit is spot on.
Day 12
Pattern: Basics Tank
Designer: Cali Faye Collection
Blogged: Yes!
Day 13
Pattern: B6175
Designer: Butterick
Blogged: No. I had to do a sba, but even so, I’m not crazy about the fit of this pattern. Funny how I’ve worn it so many times though! I love the sailboats on this peachskin fabric from Girl Charlee.
Day 14
Patten: Ruby Top (refashion)
Designer: Made by Rae
Blogged: Yes!
It’s kind of strange seeing what I wear each day considering I can never remember one day from the next. I’ll see one of my previous pics from the week and I’m like, “Oh yeah! That was that day huh?”. Let’s see if I can keep it up!
They all look great, but my favorite is the first top and also the striped top. I know what you mean about it being easier to photograph the kids (and other people) wearing what you made rather than yourself. I don’t think I have ever shared a photograph of something I made for myself (and I probably never will), but I love posting about what I make for my daughter and grandkids. However, I’m so glad you did share, you gave me some good ideas for patterns I have forgotten about, and everything you made looks great! 🙂

Thank you 🙂 My favorite part of Me Made May is all of the inspiration, and it makes me continue to take selfies even if they are the most awkward thing for me to do! I do love the Ruby Top pattern, and I’ve found that I go back to it over and over. I have another one cut out right now actually, haha!
